As such since 2010, the school has implemented a Learning Enrichment Service (LES) that aims to monitor and track the abilities of all students before supporting or extending these through three Waves of support.
The Three Wave Model at St. Michael’s International School
For those children with identified Special Educational Needs supported through Wave 3 provision, this may involve the writing of Individual Education Plans and the involvement of external agencies and support staff. In such cases, an individualised programme is implemented throughout the year in partnership with parents.
